Your most important asset is your attitude… will it be based on the intuitive, solid, un-shakeable knowingness within or will it be based on the past habits of limiting beliefs and conditioning? You will know by how you feel.
Do you need an attitude adjustment? I know I often do. Despite all the times I’ve triumphantly faced fear in the past, an alarm bell still rudely announces a comfort zone.
Every year, on September 30, Canada observes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day is dedicated to honoring the children lost to residential schools, as well as the Survivors, their families, and communities. It’s a time to acknowledge the tragic history and persistent impacts of residential schools in a public gesture of remembrance and hope towards healing. One heartfelt method we've explored is the Ho'oponopono prayer, an ancient Hawaiian healing technique rooted in self-love and responsibility. Inspired by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len’s transformative work with this prayer in a Hawaiian state hospital, we can use these four simple affirmations—"I love you. I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you."—to contribute to healing our own hearts and those of others. Join us as we delve into the significance of this prayer and how, through self-compassion and forgiveness, we can foster peace within ourselves and extend it to humanity. Healing begins with each one of us. Click here to listen or download the Ho'oponopono prayer.
