Cheryl's philosophy

The intuitive life is destiny fulfilling itself...
the soul's longing quenched, the potential lived, with regrets healed, and the magic and artistry of one's life in full bloom.

My thoughts on intuition:
We are all intuitive - while there may be different degrees and aspects of intuition, we each have the opportunity to develop our intuition further.
Intuition can be another word for consciousness - as we grow intuitively, our awareness, sense of Self, sense of our connection with Oneness also grows.
Personal intuitive development is vital to ongoing learning, growth, healing and happiness.
Intuition has been described as the highest form of psychic ability (Edgar Cayce) because it comes to us for a reason; with information to be applied. With that, comes an increased awareness and understanding of the depth and nature of our quantum potential

Intuition is about Magic.
Magic to me is about wonder, awe, nature and not only knowing I am connected to something beautiful, vast and mysterious, but also "feeling" it. Magic is in the stillness of the morning when no one else is up - that sense of exhilarating anticipation as the sun rises and first light moves across the earth, the chorus of birds announcing the new day, the rainbows that appear in a dewdrop and the sparkles that lie in the snow. Magic is having a dream deep inside you and gathering the strength and the courage to honour that dream as you step forward into the bigness rather than the smallness of life. Magic is about faith - toughing it out when our spiritual work gets harder and life gets really rocky. Magic is not magical thinking, wishful thinking or naive thinking - it's about Grace and Spirit and Strength and always, always it's about truth, love and trust.

Intuition is about discovering my uniqueness and the courage to live it.
If intuition comes to me for a reason, then what is it really trying to say? In honoring our intuitions we work with the amazing invisible field of life; call it The Force, the quantum field, the Christ Consciousness, the Buddha mind, Creator, God or universal intelligence, something inside of us is seeking to be born. And with that comes accountability and responsibility to carry out the inner stirrings of the soul. The bottom line - Intuition is about being real and staying true to the Self.

The key to intuition is simplicity.
Consciousness and enlightenment are often represented by an unfolding lotus blossom. But I prefer the analogy of the sea. The depth of the ocean is massive. So too, our inner knowing. At times we may feel small in this large sea, especially as the magnitude of waves of emotion, events and experiences can overtake us and crash our worlds. But as we learn to get our sea legs, and learn to ride the waves, we engage our higher knowing and activate our higher thinking.

Challenges in working with intuition can include:
- energetic blocks in any of the subtle bodies that make up our mind, body and spirit connection
- past programming or beliefs
- fear of letting go of the world that we know
- fear of our bigness (asking and getting what we really want
- unwillingness to listen to our own truth
- lack of development and discernment
- doubting ourselves when things turn out differently than we planned or intuited
- forgetting that life is a process and has cycles and seasons of being just like nature

Intuitive Solutions:
- operate from a place of holistic inter-connectedness - we really are one and from this place we learn compassion for ourselves and others
- can be as simple as ABC - "Allow Bold Choice" to "Accept, Breathe, Connect to the Heart"
- come from a state of higher thinking and vibrational harmony and alignment
- heal, create miracles and magic of the highest order, result in higher states of consciousness
- sometimes our intuitions feel scary, and sometimes they're fun... but they're always about the magic of life!
