Be Pro-Active with Your Intuition

I recently had the privilege of participating in a workshop with Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God. What struck me most in the sessions was the similarity between the states of being in which intuition is most effectively utilized and the states of being that Neale has written about... one of his guiding principles states:

Everything you are being, you are being because you choose to be.

If, at any given moment, you are being afraid, it is because you choose to be.  If you are being joyful, it is because you choose to be. If you are being annoyed, it is because you to choose to be.  If you are being loved, it is because you choose to be. If you are being ignored, it is because you choose to be. If you are being hurt, it is because you choose to be. If you are being wise, it is because you choose to be, etc., etc., etc....

In my intuition workshops and mentorship classes, I teach the importance of incorporating an intuitive mindset into each day that is based in being first, followed by doing.  This is both an observation and a discipline - observing our thoughts, bodies, emotions, in order to "choose" more effectively the state we wish to be in, is a form of Mastery.

What can trip us up, is that we forget this is a process.... we can momentarily forget the power of choice and before we know it, we're off into states of being we "say" we don't want to experience, yet have chosen.

And when that happens, can we choose compassion as we recognize things within ourselves that need to evolve. Compassion is a crucial element of intuitive development. It's what allows more of the present moment thinking, the only place where inner wisdom can communicate effectively.

So choose a pro-active approach to intuition... what do you CHOOSE your experience to be "while" you go about your day?
